The manga then hops straight to the voting session in the classroom, passing over three anime-original scenes: Taiga ominously ignoring that phone call in the lockerrom, the scene where she gives Ryuuji her torn pants and Minori totally brushes off Ryuuji, and the scene at Ryuuji's where Taiga first expresses her hatred for her father.

Let’s start off with describing the target demographic. Yes it is elementary school boys but how does that show in the manga? Well one notable instance (or instances) is when Goggles pulls down his rivals/opponents pants. When a manga is geared towards young boys it tends to have fart, poop, and as we see in the Splatoon manga, jokes about pulling down someone’s pants. So what I guess I’m trying to say is that there’s inappropriate humor in manga for young boys. So yes they have that and that kind of humor obviously wasn’t meant for anyone older than eleven.

I say YOUNG boy because I’m sure any boy who’s older then eleven wouldn’t be interested in this kind of protagonist, it’s just not interesting to them. That’s why in manga geared towards older audiences have more mature protagonists (usually) who don’t use fart humor nor do they pull down people’s pants, because that wouldn’t be relatable for the manga target audience even in fantasy manga, if its done right, you can relate to the characters, you find them funny, you sympathize with them, you want to be them, when these things happen you know it’s a good character, now back to what I was talking about before; the Corocoro manga is aimed at an elementary school demographic, specially young boys and that shows in the main character Goggles.

And also don’t mix hot sauce and Mayonnaise together or you will end up pooping your pants!
